Something is happening in your body during your period. Estrogen and progesterone drop. The lining you built lets go. Your body pulls its energy inward and asks you to do the same. This tea is made for that reset. Warm, grounding, sweetened only by natural spices.
The menstrual phase begins on the first day of your period. In most women, it lasts three to five days. It's the winter of your cycle. The season of release.
This tea will warm you from the inside. It is designed to support a comfortable menstrual flow, reduce the discomfort of cramps and bring a calmer, more peaceful cycle. By combining traditional botanicals, the tea works to encourage smooth, rhythmic flow, kindle Agni (digestive fire) and deeply nourish the body to keep you steady.
Hathawariya root is also known as Shatavari, one of the most revered women's herbs in Ayurveda. The name is said to mean "she who possesses a hundred husbands," a poetic reference to the plant's long history as a steadier of women's rhythms. Cooling, nourishing, deeply feminine.
Ginger for warmth, circulation and soft stimulation. Meets the cold that often shows up in the first days.
Ceylon cinnamon to make it sweeter. Ceylon cinnamon, also referred to as true cinnamon, is native to Sri Lanka, harvested from the inner bark of a small evergreen. Gently warming, subtly sweet, without sugar.
Drink one or two cups during the days of your menstruation. Best consumed morning and evening, ideally 30-60 minutes after your meal.
Is it caffeine free? Yes. Naturally caffeine free. Suitable to drink from morning to evening.
Can I drink it during pregnancy? Please consult your healthcare provider before adding new herbal teas during pregnancy. Hathawariya (Shatavari) is often recommended in pregnancy by Ayurvedic practitioners, but should be discussed with a midwife or provider you trust before adding.
Is it safe to drink daily? Yes, for most people. If you would like to drink it beyond the days of your cycle, a cup on a cold morning or a slow evening is a lovely daily ritual.
Do I have to be menstruating to drink it? No. Shed is warming and grounding, useful in any moment your body wants to slow down. The phase it is named for is where it lands most naturally, but there is no rule.
Where is it made? Formulated and blended in Sri Lanka by VEDDA. Packaged in the Netherlands and shipped across Europe from our fulfillment partner.
How long does one pouch last? Around 15 to 20 cups, depending on how you brew.

You can see this phase as the oldest reset there is
Ayurveda stands for taking care of yourself. Ayurveda translates from Sanskrit as the"science of life"or"knowledge of longevity." The female cycle contains processes that happen naturally in your body and that you can support. Flow with it, don't fight it. The menstrual phase is the winter of your cycle. The season of release.

A tea created as a reset moment
Something is happening in your body during these days that has been happening in women's bodies for millennia. Estrogen and progesterone drop. The lining you built lets go. Your body pulls its energy inward and asks you to do the same. This tea is made for that reset. Warm, grounding, sweetened only by its own spices.

Your permission to move slowly
The tea itself is a signal. Making it takes ten minutes. Drinking it takes another ten. Twenty minutes of nowhere-to-be, on the days your body has been asking for exactly that.
star
A signal to your nervous system
Ten warm minutes, both hands on a cup, no screen, no scroll, no ask. The nervous system reads that as safety. Whatever you drink is almost secondary.
