Cacao in its rawest form
Energy, clarity and calmness
Why cacao?
Cacao comes from the cacao tree. It only grows in hot places near the equator. Most chocolate and cocoa powder use just part of the bean. They add sugar and milk, and take out some of the natural fat.
Ceremonial cacao is different. It uses the whole bean. We ferment it, dry it, roast it gently, and grind it into a paste. Nothing is added. Nothing is removed. It's not "healthy chocolate". It's a different product. Closer to a natural food than a sweet treat.
What is in it?
Cacao naturally contains:
Theobromine. A natural energy booster, like caffeine but softer. It gives you steady energy, without the crash you can get from coffee.
Magnesium, iron and potassium. Minerals your body needs every day. Cacao has a lot of them.
Antioxidants. Natural substances that help protect your heart and blood vessels.
Because we use the whole bean, none of this gets lost. Regular cocoa powder and chocolate lose a lot of it during processing.
Why this origin?
Our cacao comes from one place: the Uva hills in Sri Lanka. We know the farms it comes from. The farmers grow it in a way that's good for the land, not just for a big harvest.
We work closely with Sri Cacao, so we stay connected to the farmers who grow it. We pay 50% more than the local rate. We buy directly, with no brokers in between. And we talk to farmers through community managers, so communication stays clear and honest.
When to drink it?
As your morning ritual — instead of coffee. In warm water or plant milk for steady, sustained focus.
As an afternoon reset — when the 3pm dip hits and you want warmth instead of another caffeine spike.
As full ceremony — Slowly, with intention. For meditation, journalling, or simply sitting with yourself.
